Ready
Steady

Ready Steady is a high-school film co-created by a bunch of ten teenagers coming from diverse backgrounds. The films traverses five stories, set in the same classroom - of students who come from under-resourced neighbourhoods but attend an elite school. The protagonists have co-written the stories themselves based on their own lives. The film highlights- from a student perspective- the challenges and uniqueness of a diverse classroom, forming a real picture of the 25% quota reservation for students from disadvantaged backgrounds as a part of the Right to Education mandate. It premiered at the Nehru Centre, London and has since played at more than 50 screenings in different parts of the world. It is set for a public release later this year.
